Witch and Wizard: The Kiss Review

I just finished reading this book this past week. It was quite exhilarating and anything but boring. Some of the parts involving romantic relationships in this book were a bit campy. However, I may be biased since I prefer very subtle hints of romance rather than more direct displays of affection. The villain in this book was kept in the shadows for a while like in previous books which I feel helps add to the suspense of the novel. The characters definitely grew as individuals and were given time to confront the emotional aftermath of events that have affected them greatly in the past few books. It's not too long of a read and I'd definitely recommend it.

SPOILER SECTION: Don't keep reading if you haven't completed the book.

Now for things that bothered me...I actually disliked Wisty quite a bit in this book. She seemed way too willing to trust anyone else besides those who had stuck through thick and thin with her. It annoyed me. It was also pretty bad how she was as easily influenced as she was in the book. I won't reveal more, because spoilers.I think she does deserve a bit of a break, though, because young 15 year old girl. Although, it didn't stop certain things about her from bothering me as I read through the book.

Overall, the writing does keep you on your toes, making it an exciting read. Something new happening all the time in this book. Go check it out if you are aiming to complete the series. I'm currently reading The Lost, the fifth and final book of the series. I haven't read it sooner due to lack of time. I'll probably give a summary of my thoughts on the book when I finish it, if time permits.
